The Cape Town Jazz Orchestra invited Fred and his funk quartet to Johannesburg for a show and workshop that piggy-backed on
Soul Power Week in the Congo (Brazzaville). It was another lovely experience that gave Fred a chance to visit with his old friend, South African superstar
Hugh Masakela, who was a gracious host and took him out for a community event and lunch (at
Sakhumzi Restaurant) in Soweto.

ReplyDeleteAmazing your blog and great pictures. So, I love everything. I think that Johannesburg is the spot to go to blend huge city society, shopping, eating and nightlife with open air undertakings, up-close natural life experiences and visits to recorded destinations. Investigate caverns and nature saves, or visit a customary town by day, then appreciate supper at a hip bistro or five-star restaurant. Furthermore in case you're a customer, bring an additional, void bag. With shopping centers, outdoors markets and spots that mix the two, you'll discover a lot of extraordinary souvenirs. Thanks all!!
